Is it this one?
link

If it is, I can't really say too much since it's just one page. The guy's hair is really nice, though. ^^ I'm addicted to detailed hair. XD

Scanning through your posts, I found out that you got your tablet for free. And what I can say is... WOW!!! What did you do to get you free stuff? I'm so jealous! >.< So will you still get an Intuos 3 too? X3

O_O You're SO lucky!!! I wish I could get free stuff too... T_T What size are you getting? I'm kinda bothered that my tablet's maybe a bit too small or something...

It's great that you can still find the time to draw despite your work. What do you do for a living anywayz? ^^

That's an interesting suggestion, but I barely go to Manila... Maybe only once a year or something, and it's usually just for three days or so... But I'm okay with doing a joint manga. X3

Such a generous friend... XD

Medium as in 4 x 6 or 6 x 8?

I wanna be a graphic artist in the future too. ^^ What exactly do you do? Oh, and any suggestions on what course to take? :3

Anime expos sound like lots of fun... unfortunately, none of them are held in our province; thus, I haven't even attended one... (so sad...)

yeah so generous (he even paid shipping since he sent it from US) and he is also the one whose gonna send me an intuos and extra pen and tips for the bamboo.

medium is roughly 5.3 x 8.6 suited esp for widescreen format laptops.

well... im not a pro graphic artist tho... my college course is computer science but i do know adobe illustrator and photoshop.

if you really wanna, take fine arts and major in cartooning. tho i would suggest to major in other field like advertising.

I wish I had a friend like that... -_-

I guess mine's just small sized... I only have a 4 x 6...

I'm planning to take up Information Design in Ateneo if I pass the entrance exam. I think it's more practical than Fine Arts.

Why would you pick Fine Arts? Isn't it supposed to be hard to get a job with that course? My mom was 99.9% against it.

like... what do you think my job in KSA is? if my cousin had not known me as an artist i wont be landing here. i wont be having a huge salary and i wont be able to work professionally.

dont make my mistake. look at it, many ads you see on tv, flyers etc. are made by the likes of us. hell even the box of soap was made by graphic artists.

what i meant is that some 'educated' people fail to see the obvious. they only see the current trend and not the truth. fine arts lands the most profittable jobs as long as you have what it takes!

Yes, you have a point. But isn't Fine Arts kinda too... "traditional?" Everything's done on the computer now. I think a course concentrating on digital art would be better.

My mom knows a couple of people who didn't do well after graduating from Fine Arts, that's why she wasn't happy with the idea. Even my friends and cousins say it's too impractical.

It'd be even harder for me to find a job since I live in such a small province. I don't even know the status of the art industry here... -_-;

sigh... i feel for ya, hardcoreotaku... really hard wat to decide. :(

i'm not sure i wanna take fine arts at all since my huge effort in studying would be a waste of time (i'm a top student... ---> lol, i just sounded braggy XDXD) but then again my best talent of all is drawing. aaackkk *is confused*

but just take what u really want (what u really want, deeeeeeeeeeeeep down in ur heart XD hehhe...)

Don't worry... I totally understand what you feel. I get really good grades too, that's why my parent don't want me to take up something related to arts since I wouldn't be using my academic abilities.

Even some of my friends reacted when I told them I was planning to go to a not-so-prestigious college. It really affected me. At least I found out that there was a similar course in Ateneo, so that's my goal now.

Deciding to go to Ateneo really changed everyone's reactions of me moving away from the province. At first, my family was totally against it, but since they know that I want to go to Ateneo now, they're giving me consideration. I promised my dad that I won't study in Manila if I don't get a scholarship though... It's pretty expensive to study there. -_-;

LOL thats so absurd hardcore... everyone is using computers yes. you think fine arts lags behind? well its up to you to decide. fine arts use traditional methods but think about it. what you are using to make manga isnt traditional but is classified under fine arts.

my skill to use pencil is different from my skill in how i use the pc and tablet but is still considered fine art. one is only limited to what others will let you percieve. this was my mistake. i let others percieve things than i can clearly see.

Ahhh... Now I get what you mean. Sorry, my bad. I thought you meant Fine Arts as in the traditional kind of Fine Arts... Coz when people usually say 'Fine Arts' I instantly associate it with the traditional kind of art. When my friends and I talk about digital art courses we don't refer to them as Fine Arts but the specific major(i.e. Multimedia Arts, Information Design). Oopss.. ^^;;

Now that I'm in the right track... what major would you have chosen?
