SYNOPSIS:Jay Haru Takamiya, age 12, a half (a japanese derogatory term for those with mixed blood. eg. half filipino, half japanese in case of jay harus parentage), is a student in a school in the philippines. he is a naive guy who fell in love with a foreign (japanese) singer after hearing her voice in the radio. he never got her name and then came his dreams of this singer "waiting" for his arrival.

by the coachin (and coercing) of his twin sister, Sakura May, he tried out for an exchange student program hosted by the school.

how will he fare? will he finally meet the "songstess"?

Your first submission deadline will be 10 July 2008 since you will be in the even months' issue (sorry you cannot choose because the odd month's group is full >.<) and your manga will start in our issues from August 2008. (the June deadline has already passed... or if you can get 10 pages up by 20th May you can have your manga in the June issue =D)

ya dont have to be jealous... its a pain in the arse to make colored manga and use 2-3 different softwares just to make it work

but thanks to opencanvas, genius g-pen (hopin that soon to be wacom bamboo fun) and comicworks (mangastudio is still meh until i get the hang of it.) im free of PS.

That is really nice! What program do you use to color?

i used to use photoshop then export it to coreldraw for the text.

now that im doing full digital manga, im either using comicworks or mangastudio ex 3.0 for b/w and opencanvas for the colored.

tablet is a genius g-pen generic tablet and now a wacom bamboo fun medium courtesy of a friend.

migth get an intuos if i win the contest by wacom asia so ill keep my fingers crossed
