Selenaloong suggests that it may be good to have a new calendar for 2009!! I personally don't mind working on this, but for this year I will not be around getting the calendar ready, so the person who is helping in site monitoring will be responsible for editing the images and turning them to calendar pages (by the way, this person will be determined soon. I am trying to get all the information for him/her ready before the November issue).

I will be able to work on a calendar page. What do you guys/gals think?

I think we are still missing Nov of this year. D:

But It dose sound like fun. I'm totally down for it just that we gotta be sure that the person will submit for the month they pick. (FIRST!!!! I pick Oct!!!!! x3 ) I just hope it's not too much work for the sub Admin. ^_^

Yup, we're missing November this year ^^

I think I can go for it. I mean it's fun making images for dream  I choose September :winks: Should we do it in portrait or landscape? The calender I mean. =)

Last year's size was too big XD I guess it will need a lot of ink to print (if anyone wishes to print), so perhaps we can make it post card size (which is...??) this year?

oh if we made it that small I could carry it with me~ I could look at it all the time XDD
and yea,...didnt think about how much ink it would take to print that big of a size.
(my printer just eats up my ink)

How about pocket calendars? Instead of putting it at the bottom, we can have one side picture, the other side calendar, then you can fold it down the middle.

We can even make it into a pdf that can be printed double sided (with front and back covers) and you'll really have a handbook calendar with enough room to do things like circle the days where your best friend has his/her birthday and/or when your exams end/begin :P

I know I'm new, but can I join? :D

selena>>november's not gone i think....
ren>> i'm sure no one will mind ^^

i agree with the pocket calendar idea. just to clarify, so we make each calendar half a page with the image on the left side (a quater of a page) and the actual calendar on the other side?

Pocket calendar is good =D (we can all save ink XD) So what size are we going to make them? Assuming calendar sizes of about 3.5 inch x 2 inch, with resolution of 300dpi, then the image size (for each side) will be around 1050x600 pixels?

Yuy_Ren>> Of course you can join!!

I'll take AUGUST, if it's not already gone!... :)
3.5 x 2 seems really small though... I think postcard size (4x6 inches) is a good standard size for a mini calendar... but whatever you guys want, I'll do!
By the way, if you guys need anyone to design the non-illustrative part of the calendar, (the day spaces and numbers), I have a good adobe design program for that kind of thing, and I wouldn't mind designing that part if it seems to daunting for anyone... My program is making calendars for next year to raise money, so I kind of know how to design the boring stuff :P.
