I've been thinking. It seems that the current DREAM submission schedule doesn't quite work with everybody right now since it's school time right now. Do you think we should split into three submission teams to give us more time? Or go back to a bi-monthly issue format with the two teams in tact? I think three teams may be the better idea at the moment but we need more writers. I also think we should start looking for more talent around Tokyopop, Smackjeeves, or whereever to see if we could make a three team system work. What do you think?

That may be a good idea since we are getting more busy... but I am not sure if we have enough members to split up into three teams... let me check:

Active members - submitting mangas
CHerryRIce
Hiwatari Ki
JayHaru Takamiya
Lwando Lawrence Moshani
Mashmellow Muffin
Otomiya Haine
Reuel Smith
Selenaloong
Yukihime
Yuy Ren

On-hiatus members - submitted mangas before but away at present
Kitkat
Ran
Risa
Yuki Neko

coming members - accepted but has not submitted anything
hardcoreotaku
Maika Lamperouge
Mujushin
Pansey
Kyo Komai

Leaving members - ;_;
Anime610
Yume_chan

If we are splitting up into two groups there will only be anout 3 mangas per issue... so I suggest keeping with two issues...

We really need to look for more talent!! >.<

I'll try and get my friend(s) to join again. >.<;; She was so close to joining too. Just the page size of her manga is huge! @__@;: I'll see if I can re size it to make it work for dream. I'll try uploading manga again on Tokyo Pop no matter how many times my brain brakes from there stupid site layout. i-i

I'm currently doing co-op, once i'm back in school (4th year) in january, I'll have a full course load, i'll have to look for co op job for the summer at the same time, I'm also a peer leader for a cluster of residence first years
I also dedicate wednesdays to jugglings club, and friday's to go club (lol, big nerd)
Also, I'm the scanlator for Tokyo Crazy Paradise, and I try to get a chapter out per month
Amidst all that, I'm studying for the CFA (chartered financial analyst) exam in June (which takes about 300 hrs of studying per level)

Needless to say, I think I bit off more than I can chew by committing myself to Dream. It would certainly be nice to be able to submit in cycles of 3 teams, but I think 10 pages every 2 months isn't still isn't too bad. I admit I still spend a lot of time reading manga and watching anime, reading novels, playing games etc, so even though I can say I'm busy, its really just a matter of setting priorities.

I think we can all do it if we work hard! It's 10 pages every 2 months! That's almost just a page a week :3 Keeping up with even the bare minimum makes sure you're not at a stand still with your project. I've been talking about working on "Duh" since I was 16 (when my friends and I first created the concept of the story), I'm 21 now and I've just been using the excuse of busy and didn't do it. Right now, I'm busier than ever before, but I think I can manage. I do know if I just let it slip, I'll regret it. I've got a whole backlog of dropped projects that I don't want another to go to the pile...

Let's all work hard together! :3
Isshou ni Ganbatte kudasai, minna-san!

End of pep talk.
