I've been seeing many people apply for being a mangaka here.
The site is growing very very fast. And I like the artwork I'm seeing here. BUT.. the more manga you add in the magazine, when someone downloads a past month magazine.. it's just too big a file. D: Take me for instance. I have one of the most crappiest connections in the world. All just because my daddy wants to save money and settle with this somewhat-okay connection.

but like when I downloaded the first magazine, I had to do three retries to download it. Look at the number of manga in this current magazine! It's gonne take me forever if I don't read it now!

So.. here's the suggestion. We're definitely not kicking anything out. I'm happy with everything I see on the site (cept maybe a few glitches but those can be fixed later). We'll be making slots for every magazine. Like day shifts and night shifts.

Say one month the magazine features: Lucky-13, Spin the Bottle, Autumn Love, Contradiction, and Hikari Project. The next issue, some other five [different] manga are featured. That way, the mangaka have more time (just in case ya'll 're like me who need lotsa time to perfect and prepare and has lots of RL stuff going on).

I'm totally for it. I've asked my friends if they like the idea. One of them said that it'll also create a bigger suspense for whatever story it is.

So, how about it? Need more explanation? D:

We have been discussing somewhere earlier about that. When we get more mangakas, we can have issues every month, but the mangaka will be split up so that submission is still every two months, but alternatively.

I have also uploaded the photobucket version in case many people have trouble downloading the whole issue at one time =)

Or I think we surely have to have a limit with the maximum allowable people to join...

i'm for both ideas i guess. but the thing about limits is that i would feel bad if i didn't make it in(taking me for an example) but it would most definately solve the problem. also, if we were split into two groups that would be good except it would be like spliting the site in two and i'm scared b/c i don't want to lose the sense fo unity that everyone currently shares by working on one mag. it seems that there's no good way to solve this

but i definately hear you on the long loading time thing. my parents are like that too and it took me three hours to read the last issue even though i skipped ki's manga and most of ran's since i already read them (and also mine)

Another thing about the Limits:

Well yeah. I'd feel terrible if I wasn't in this too. But I'm afraid that if there's no limit, the magazine mangaka list will prolly reach the bottom of my monitor. :[ And if you read real manga magazines (I forgot what it's called but it features Hikari No Go and Naruto), they don't have every single shonen manga that one magazine. They have limits.
We should have like 5 mangas featured in the magazine because if we have all of them or too many in one magazine, what if it confuses the reader? For instance. I can only read up to 3 books at a time. If I were to read like 5 more books.. OMG my brain would pop!

I agree somewhat. I think we should separated the mangas with odd number months and even number months. I love reading everyone's manga but I hate waiting for them in two months.

i'm sorry! ^^; i didn't mean it that way! what i meant was that it kind of felt like seperating! but i guess it's okay since most of us agree that that's the best way to solve the problem at the moment

yah, me too!! everytime a new issue comes out i always think "time runs too fast.."

does that mean, that for example, me, ran, risa work on march issue (including the others), then yume-chan, anime610, and ki-san (including the other others...) work on the april issue?? is that what you mean?

Basically we are dividing our large group of mangakas into two so that each issue will not be so think (due to slow connections for some computers that are like... forever). We are planning to have issues every month, but not everyone's work will be featured in every issue.

So if everyone agrees to this, I guess it's time to split up =D

Those who would like to work on January, March, May, July, September, November, say "ODD"

Those who would like to work on February, April, June, August, October, December, say "EVEN"

I think I will be in the odd months =D

And any suggestion as to when we are spliting?

i don't have photoshop yet... but i'm done doing the whole panels and stuff...

I'll take even because of I'm planning on doing a Halloween Special and other holiday specials as well.

There can be a post where people can claim a month...
